David is a highly experienced M&A execution professional in the alcoholic drinks industry with 24 years’ experience at Diageo plc, the world's largest drinks company, and now operating an independent consultancy since 2018.  At Diageo, David negotiated as principal on a large number of successful transactions with a cumulative deal value of $15bn together with $40bn of abortive transactions. Purely M&A has provided consultancy for a large number of clients in Beverage Alcohol advising on successful acquisitions and disposals, providing valuation and financial consultancy and also as Investment Director for a new fund.
